Lot's to take in here for an outsider to the stock. The type of situation I believe only long term investors can fully grasp given the lack of understanding generally around tech stocks (especially on the ASX), and my understanding still evolving.
BUT, from my perspective this is a fantastic lesson in the realities of our market, short selling, as well as how the media sensationalises stories for views.
Watched the interview. Performed well under pressure. No issues at all for mine - how good was the CFO pulling up the journalist?!
People do realise that those who stand to benefit from a SP drop are the ones who created the report yes?
Fascinating stuff, glad I'm on the sidelines for this one and get to choose if I want to jump in or not. Though right now leaning towards starting a position.
