I've said before I have found CER less predictable than CNP. The rise in the share price from around $0.28 to $0.385 in recent days has been spectacular. This is in spite of Swap's reports that Orbis has ceased buying, at least for the moment. Why did this increase occur? Perhaps improvements in overall market sentiment has lifted the stock. The strengthening US dollar would have assisted with the majority of CER's assets based in the US. Maybe recent broker reports have also brought investor attention. Were there other factors that contributed to a rise of around 37.5%? I don't know. But Macquarie sure got the 'V High' on the volatility index correct!
Hopefully the trend is upwards over time.
