    'COMDEK SEEKS $12M'

    Subiaco-based Comdek was last night believed to be finalising an equity placement to raise at least $12 million through an institutional investor to help fund the development of its recently acquired South African coal projects. Shares in the one-time technology company went into a trading halt yesterday and the company is expected to announce a capital raising at about 18c a share by tomorrow.
