Poultry assets are expensive to run and maintain, particularly if you are running broilers. The investment to upgrade the existing infrastructure would have been expensive relative to the return from extending the lease. this is a great move by directors. Also shows that the assets are not overstated by 100% given the sale price... the share price should be back up to over $2. No-one, particularly not First State Super, would purchase this without adequate DD, and clearly they are prepared to invest for the long haul. Nice to see the SP move, even slightly up today. I dont know what is required to trigger a strong move upwards but these rancid short seller reports clearly are spooking despite lacking substance.
