I don't disagree with you there in those cases. In those days I was managing a large business and personally had contact with Joh and some of the cabinet ministers. Joh was too trusting and gave his ministers too free a hand. They took advantage of him and were absolutely crooked. I was there so my knowledge is first hand. I was somewhat involved, (but not financially, apart from doing my job). I saw Joh in action and saw how he made Queensland the envy of other states. Most have gained a biased version put out by a biased press.
