You make a good point, though I would expect that AGL would not deplete the customer battery, leaving something for the customer to use themselves until the next charge cycle. Though having said that, it's not always competent engineers choosing these limits...
I don't have time to search right now, but would be good to see if there's any technical note on how they're running the VPP hiding in the depths of the web.
