Chief Financial Officer

Admiralty Resources NL is developing major projects in Chile, Argentina and Australia. It is poised for expansion of its iron ore joint venture in Chile, and embarking on US$100m lithium, potash and sodium sulphate project in Argentina. Both projects currently employ about 120 staff overseas with Head Office based in Melbourne - CBD.

Reporting to the Managing Director this newly created role is an exceptional opportunity for an accomplished and experienced public company finance professional seeking a challenge in the international mining and chemicals scene.

Specific responsibilities will include:

Capital strategy and implementation
Financial and Tax Management
Accounting and Audit
ASIC and ASX compliance and reporting
Liaison with Latin American subsidiaries and JV's
Project development and feasibility studies
Legal overview, large contracts and tenders

The executive we are seeking will be currently employed at this level and have strong financial skills, be resourceful and play a key role in executing complex domestic and international transactions. Your expertise and hands on ability to manage the day to day tasks as well as strategy is imperative. As a driven individual with a high degree of enthusiasm, your strong communication ability, developed research and problem solving skills will enable you to work collaboratively with external consultants and technical members of the overseas team. Some international travel to Latin America and Asia may be required. As the successful candidate you will have post graduate qualifications in Finance.
