I think you are on the right track in regard to how the PAC share price is being smashed. PPT is under the pump following the Royal Commision, and probably are in need of some cash. As PAC's largest shareholder, they could almost be classified as a distressed seller. I have been buying up over the last seek or so, as I thought they were reasonable value at around $5.50, let alone $4.50.

With around $100m in current assets, this equates to at least $2 per share, surely the rest of the company is worth more than $2.50 per share. On forecast earnings of around 40c per share this financial year, I think they are currently worth $5.50 to $6.00 per share, and more if the current cash can be deployed as well as other recent asset purchases.

Others on HC have been complaining about recent performance but I think the new team are going pretty well. The accounts are still very difficult to get your head around but I think this degree of complexity is gradually being sorted out. I will keep buying at these levels, but do lose a bit of sleep about maybe I am chasing a falling knife.
