    i have a great tactic been using it for some time.

    it changes regularly depending on my mood etc.

    1. they say hello, and pretend you dont hear a response, keep saying hello, hello anyone there and at times talking over the person as if you really cant hear them. they hang up pretty quickly.

    2. i put on an accent and when they ask is this Mr xyz i say no this is telstra, can i help you? do you need a new phone. confuses the hell out of them.

    3. I say things like this is pizza hut, do you want a pizza. they often are confused and say a bit of their spiel and ask for mr xyz again at which time i get angry and say do you want a pizza? ham and pineapple or chicken, please make your order sir.

    4. you can simply leave the phone off the hook and every now and then pick it up and say something. often you will hear them ranting on and they stop to check if anyones there, i have kept a guy going for 10 minutes.


    have fun with them i say, if you cant beat them join them.
