How frustrating.
I never expected for my sentiment to shift this way, but as the war has dragged on and I have better understood the conflict and the parties involved - the more I distrust the 'legitimate' government.
I can see how corrupt they are, and why the Houthis rebelled against them, and why this movement gained momentum.
To me, it seems the Southerners are the only truly legitimate party involved in the conflict who wish for unity and stability in Yemen. However, achieving that (most likely) involves compromise and doing a deal with the govt. whom they would ultimately like independence from...
It is clear to me the govt. cares only for control and power, otherwise they would gladly seek peace with the STC.
Hopefully events make Petsec's life easier for longer, page-4
