It's also worth mentioning that the Kaolin at Poochera is very high grade, brightness is at the upper limits or above the upper limits for typical top quality Kaolin. Kaolin is often used as a whitening agent ... so performance specifications matter, particularly - brightness (the brighter the better) and yellowness (the less yellow the better).
Impurities (particularly Fe203 and Ti02) for Kaolin from Poochera are well below the lower limits of typical top quality specification Kaolin ... by a margin in the 40%+ range below commercial the lower limits.
Very few Kaolin deposits are in the same league as the Poochera deposits in terms of Kaolin Grade. That is why other companies have to rely on very high CAPEX HPA strategies to derive any revenue from their resources.
