- A shareholder update will happen on 3rd Sept. A lot of +ve news will be released to keep the shareholders happy. As most of shareholders have been waiting for any substantial news for a long time - we can expect a big turnover. Everyone will be happy with the progress.
- An EGM will be held later on in Sept. As most of shareholders have already attended the company update, they won't bother turning up for the EGM. MY understanding is that directors have enough friendly votes to pass any resolution but obviously they want to avoid any nasty showoff of hands (from disgruntled shareholders) at the EGM. This way the shareholders are happy and the directors achieve their solution of rewarding the scientists without any nasties being aired in public!
