I'd be very surprised if 1.7c holds. Remember that this mainly retail investors who can be slow to react to news. Most probably check the SP once each night after work. At the moment I think the main reaction is going to be "S***, I should have sold yesterday". If it is only retail buying this is going to continue to slide. Maybe at some point another miner might take an interest because of the resource but at the moment I think this is a falling knife (don't try to catch it).
