To my knowledge, iron and titanium cannot be recovered economically from the slag after it has been salt roasted. If this was TNG Ltd and their tiVan malarkey where they recover everything with acid, then maybe. But AVL, thus far, isn't proposing to change the process route, just the location of the process plant, adding significant freight costs to the operation.
