That purchase is encouraging but one swallow....

It is unlikely the drilling program is finished or even near finished as they got off to a late start and the first couple of holes were more or less outside the most prospective areas (for good reason as the Qld government was paying).

Has anyone heard any whispers about the drilling? Have they got one or two rigs on the go for example and are they working around the clock? It must be hard to get rigs there and you would hope they would make the best possible use of them while they are there.

My guess is we won't see any results for at least another couple of months. I don't think we can pin too many hopes on the results either as the companies (Anglo and Falcon) would have to be very lucky indeed to strike something in the first significant drilling program. More likely is that this will take a number of years to test.

I don't want to sound like a glass half empty person, but you'd just about need to strike solid nickel to shift this market.
