During and after presidency, I could understand, but tax returns previous to? shouldn't they be strongly audited by the IRS anyway?
The whole issue brings to mind, that maybe all politicians should be continually audited for a few years after they leave their posting, to make sure there's no untoward dealings/payments.......particularly in Australia.
