Whilst i don't condone shareholders bombarding any company with needless questions it is still the right of the shareholder to ask the question. Sometimes it is the best interest of companies to be proactive when it comes to shorters as some companies have found out recently. The questions being asked may just get some info out to stifle the shorters.
The company is very responsive to shareholder questions and David in my dealings has been been very willing to listen when questions have been asked, but maybe it is the manner and the question being asked that gets a decent response.

As to putting in being a large shareholder that is maybe a subjective description.
