I can’t recall if there was limit on orders from one customer last year, but this year TMall and A2 Official shop have limitation on orders, to avoid someone buying in bulk and sell at higher price later. My feeling is A2 doing discount on sales events is part of marketing strategy. As it has flagged flat profit margin, I believe it has been absorbed by market and it’s not a concern anymore. I admit it’s getting harder to track billion dollar sales but I couldn’t see any sign of declining. Also, I suspect lots of customers switched to JD from TMall, since A2 signed strategic partnership with JD back in Jun/July 19, it’s sales of stage 1,2 has been No. 1 over past couple of months and stage 3 has been no.2, just behind Wyeth which has been no.1 for years on JD. A2’s sales on another rising online business giant “pinduoduo” which targets tier 3 and 4 cities has been top 1 since I started watching. Someone may accuse its selling fake products but I doubt it
