A possibility that has been overlooked is that IIG have a commercial deposit at Lionel Diggings, and are negotiating to sell it. IIG are not gold miners, but investors, and have spent money drilling to add value to the property, but may have no interest in going further with it.
If they were to sell it for say $20m, which is not a lot, that's 5c per share for IIG. Recent estimates on this forum suggest the deposit may be worth $40m, so selling it for $20m leaves enough in it for the buyer.
Just a thought, but that would be my strategy with so little cash. And with no such strategy, IIG should have announced something regarding their liquidity by now.
