Here's from Business Spectator : "Australian base metals mining and exploration company Perilya is set to reduce operations at its Broken Hill facilities in NSW, in a move that will lead to 450 job losses.
According to The Australian Financial Review, Perilya's 750 strong workforce at Broken Hill will be reduced by 60 per cent as the miner winds back its $60 million hedge book to tackle tougher market conditions.
The Potosi and North mine sections of the mine will be closed but work will continue at the southern section of the facilities, the paper said"
