I would appreciate if you asked them about the investment into the maintenance,care, reproduction, and cataloging of the genetic markers of the germ plasm, as I feel that this is the deep, long term value of the company.

each strain must be grown out every 2 or 3 years and fresh seeds stored. We did that, in conjunction with Southern Cross University for years, at a cost of about $300k per year. Is that still being done?

Further, what we could never afford to do back in the day was catalogue the DNA of every strain with an eye to using database methods to quickly pursue potentially useful combinations of the strains on hand to solve specific problems or market opportunities. I.e. drug production specifically aimed at pain, PSTD, épilepsies of various types, or nutritional profiles of seeds, adaptation of the plant for specific geographical areas by manipulating the requirements for daylight, water, or temperature etc.

Basically setting the stage for specific natural DNA selection or eventually outright lab based genetic manipulation because we ain’t the hippies in the room.

”Is there budget being expended on the reproduction and refreshing of the famous germ plasm?”

”Is the genetic profiles of these 400 odd strains of cannabis being studied catalogued for the future?”

”Under what rubric of the financial statements would we be able to follow the magnitude and progress of these investments?”
