    Just sounds like someone's employment agreement included the allocation of shares in one form or another. Maybe there were outstanding shares from when they were employed or perhaps they were part of compensation for leaving (probably my guess), It's tough to guess exactly as the information is pretty sparse, but I's say it's not particularly important news on any level.

    It's not totally uncommon for listed companies to partially compensate employees through shares as opposed to cash, and I'm taking a guess that's probably what the case was here.

    You'd have to contact the company to find out for certain though.
