most likely a loss this year I would think - next to no crop and drought persisting. SunRice might have to modify their existing footprint in Leeton if drought persists which will cost big $ and no guidance yet on their international footprint. Maybe they lose international customers if they can’t meet their demand for certain types of rice?
i think in their last announcement they were forecasting a loss similar to the last drought year but you would have to check the relevant announcement/presentation
im a shareholder and holding long term - the drought will break eventually and I think govt will crack down on certain types of plantations that rely heavily on water (like almonds) and give more water back to the communities that rely heavily on rice and dairy etc...
good luck - patience with this stock is key I think
