FID is not making any money on the FP business and never will. Capability and honesty do not usually come by in pair in this industry. But if they do, it is usually not cheap. FID was built this way. Just look at how many advisors they have after a decade and a half.
Market will always be a concern, no matter how high or how low it is. Investing is mostly about people. Read everything you can and you will get a sense of management.
