1. the majority of Lebanese are against the economic chaos in Lebanon because the govt debt to GDP has been around 160% for many years, obviously due corruption when rebuilding the country after civil war
2. the majority of Syrians support Assad and, prior to the International Covert War in Syria, Syria's economic situation was the complete opposite of Lebanon, with little debt
3, naturally, Syria's situation will change if the international military attacks stop and they must rebuild. obviously, the economy is already wrecked for many years; the same as Iraq & Libya, which was the Western goal
