Time to do a 5 for 1 split of csl shares, page-32

Correction, it was floated at less than the $5 I had mentioned above.... Not a bad little run in the past 25 years.. For something that was spun off from a government entity... Little cut and paste from a google search on CSL Float, keeping in mind the statement was 29th September 2016.. when it was only $100 +13433% gain......

So today..... that same initial $10K investment is worth just shy of $3M... Its just not a share you sell, unless some who have to when it breaches 25% of their total portfolio, not that they want too..

It originally floated at $2.30 per share in 1994 but given all the share buybacks the company has embarked on, the adjusted entry price is equivalent to around 76 cents. An initial $10,000 investment in CSL would now be worth over $1.3 million with more than $140,000 dividends paid in that time.

I was lucky as had a grandfather who loved to chat about this type of stuff as he was an ex CFO himself... But even he bought and held some dogs, as we all do...
