There is no acidification of the oceans. The ph of the ocean has an average ph 8.1 though it varies a lot. I am confident that you will realise that this is a basic ph.
This mainstream alarmists was pushing that the acidification of the ocean was the greatest threat to life on earth since when ever. He began with a complete falsehood and then had the audience in raptures over his follow on predictions.
