"Consensus" is a load of old tosh. Just because a load of people say something does not make it right.
The key numbers are the Company's guidance. And from there how well they meet it.
The cynic in me reckons "consensus" is just an excuse for a broker to publish something which will inevitably drive buy/sells from customers from whom they derive their brokerage income. Add things like the bot shenanigans brokers get to clip the ticket all over the place.
