Good point. Also a weird situation because even though the holding rights are given to us for "free" as existing share holders, the capital gain isn't 100% of their value, nor did we acquire them without risk/payment.
I'm a lawyer but I don't do tax law beyond broad strokes. Any accountants up in here?
