I think Westpac has the standard escape clauses to close the issue early.My prediction is that the SPP will close
on December 2 and unless demand is huge over subscriptions will be accepted.In the meantime volumes
are running well above normal ex-div volumes which may indicate some holders are selling and hoping to
replace the sales with new shares from the SPP.
