Sabre,
Revenue was over $80mill. The real profit from raw materials was $50mill, but a book value had to be entered for exchange rates. Remember this is just a book entry value, not a physical value.
Considering Oxiana has only been producing for just over a year, are doubling gold production by the end of the year, are starting to produce copper this time next year, are one of the lowest cost producers in the world, have a 10year+ mine life, and have some unbelievable further exploration results, I would have to say that $1bill is about right for where it stands right now.
In my view, copper (and to a lesser extend gold) prices are going to go up and remain strong for the next few years at least. If you are gambling that it won't, then Oxiana would still be a company of choice due to its low costs and mining proximity to China. OXR's original BFS that conservatively proved mining viable had a copper price well below its current price.
Cheers
