I 100% agree with you mate. That is exactly what happens, and the response you were given is exactly what a stereotypical labour hire director would say. Someone that cares for nothing more than money in his pocket. Saying that the workers are highly sought after and paid highly is laughable. Rates of pay are nearly on par with what you would get in the city and low life undercutting labour hire companies are are the root cause of this problem.
