Market is short sighted IMO. Therein lies the opportunity side of the equation for mine cos Im the eternal optimist even in / especially in such megabear macros.
Reckon we have been set up for the dinner party. U dont know what the yanks are doing amongst themselves but my CT imagination is running wild.
Todays Gov decision to allow Chinese a big slice of RIO adds to my thinking it will be easy peasy for 70% control of CMR TOTAL to be gained by HNC and still appear as 50% ozzie owned ... my MO is suggested in here for it not costing them a buck. I cant fight it so will look for the crumbs.
Then again my core has always had a resources cycle peak target for max out ... y 2011-12 (?) so still intact. But others are likley to reap the cream here. Disappointing.
Hard to TRADE against the current tide atm so still waiting for the triggers.
Curious to see how smart the Board is to break this pathway to loss of company control. So far they have been one step behind instead of one step ahead.
Good to see GT and JP putting out theirs on the line now and with same risk as us plebs. Pity they didnt heed previous warnings tho, would have been so much easier and less painful for us.
Maybe GT needs to join us on the front line and end up with 20% and his own on the chopping block to get this finally in new uptrend. As I said my imagination running wild haha.
