I am not in this to trade sentiment. As a long term buy-and-hold type investor, I want to buy at the lowest prices possible to maximise my return over my investing life.

Of course, if the price falls are motivated by something that materially undermines the (rough) long-term value of the business, then you have to think before you buy. But short term factors that influence the share price are buying opportunities in most cases.
