When I was working as a lab geek for a large winery, I was shocked to see that when there was a high quality wine, the wine makers would often blend up to 20% of the total volume of crap wine into it... it is a common practice to bulk up the total quantity of saleable wine and offload the stuff they could not move, or was fit for human consumption because of high sulphur levels (a preservative)
It is the same in Iron ore... they blend high quality of DSO with a bit of suitable CID. If you take one ton of 63% DSO and mix in one ton of 58% CID, you end up with 2 ton of 60.5% DSO.
The end result is that you have 2 ton of DSO. Tell me that the CID is worthless to those that have 63% DSO.
And answer my original two questions.
