ICG are not doing things wrong. this is not what I am trying to get across. they are also however not doing much for SH's to get their SP going. they don't want another failed drilling campaign. I get it. they can't just keep plotting away at buying up tenements in the hope that majors will just come in. as time passes money gets less and less and CR's keep coming. the issue IMO is that they can't rely on securing a JV with only holding property. Riqueza is with S32. that's great. whether this was a successful agreement or not, their core focus should be on one of their other Aussie projects. let Riqueza do its thing. success or fail they have to prepare for failure just in case. they cant just keep sniffing around for rock chips for the next 12 months. SH's want bang for their buck. everyone who invests wants to make money. what ICG is doing is being too conservative. there is no excitement in this arena. unfortunately at this end of the market excitement is required for SP movement. it's not a BHP where SH's are happy to park their money and collect divies. I am not saying be careless but come on, the last 12 months of Ann's talk about rock chips and narrowing down to hopefully identify a Tier 1. ICG want a tier 1, we get it. so does every other mining company.

IMO, pick a project which has the most potential and seriously put something in place to prove it up. pick one which takes into account a resource which is in demand, start applying for government funding, a project which has a water resource available, accessibility to roads, one where local employment can be sourced to attract government funds. have these in place and then see whether you will get attention from majors rather than being on the backfoot in negotiations.

I apologize to those who don't share my views and I am truly not here to stir the pot or get people offside. this is just how I see it. I may be completely wrong and happy to be shown a contrary view. I am here to discuss ICG and how they can kick some goals. I am also here because I believe they have secured some great tenements. I just believe that they need some polish in their execution strategy....

and for the record I DO NOT want a board seat. my job keeps me busy enough and I would not have the time to dedicate to SH that would be required. it would also be selfish on my family to take on something where I hardly have time as it is. I thought I would put this out there.
