We have three to four months of serious bush fire risk ahead, assuming it doesn't rain, yet idiocy reigns down from all levels of government and bureaucracy.
We have, theoretically, a conservative government sucking up to delusional hard left green ideology on:
Renewable (intermittent) energy policy.
No new dams to capture water when the drought breaks.
No support for our agricultural industry in a serious drought.
An economy that has had no real growth (per capita) for years.
This country is being "lead" to something that looks a lot like destruction.
The media and politicians have elevated the role of Prime Minister to that of a de facto President and the current boofhead
couldn't run a chook raffle if you gave him the tickets, the chooks and found him a table down the pub. The only thing he is good at is licking arse overseas.
