Thanks Boro, that first link is particularly useful. I guess there is the possibility that purchasing through a GPO might be policy for some hospitals because of the advantages that collective scale/bargaining give the GPO members in price negotiations. This would be particularly true for smaller centres. Upside for PNV is (I guess) that they can get product to smaller clients through there GPO without necessarily having a one to one relationship with a Polynovo sales person. They want the product, the GPO carries it and has negotiated on their behalf, orders and delivers based on that contracted price to their members. That's what I surmise anyway: an unsophisticated analysis at best. But thank you.
