Glad to see a thread on WOW's overvaluation.
The sticking point for many who've owned it for a reasonable period of time and think it's currently overvalued, is capital gains tax.
When we give up 16%, 18% or, for a lucky few, 22.5% (plus a bit of medicare levy, and one or more rebates in our ridiculously complex system) of the profit on disposal, it increases the margin of error we need to allow in our decision to sell.
In a tax-free world I agree with you and would be selling at this price. As it is, for now I'm prepared to wait for my estimate of WOW's underlying value to catch up to the market.
