I didn't think I was insulting anyone by posting out my point of view
I have spent most of my adult life in raising a family and helping out my kids, and ow grandkids, in a way that my parents couldn't help me. As mentioned before, we are not an angry generation and it irritates me when younger generations cannot get over the fact that we made the most of our opportunities. Maybe it was also a question of what the priorities were rather than just what our opportunities were.

Our real wealth - and still is - was our family - something that took priority over everything else (at least for me)
It seems todays generations measure their wealth on the value of their house and the size of their car and that is why they will never truly be satisfied wth what they have. We keep arguing about the material things that each generation enjoys but we rarely debate the non pecuniary values that are slowly being dissipated and lost.
