    DevilMC, that post made a lot more sense than your first one. Instead of firing off in all directions, maybe take aim at the real targets which seem to lay well camouflaged. Remember that the real sources of power are often the least visible.

    I agree that Labor has ignored its core base. That could also be a result of the same influences affecting all of us. Like in the USA corporate money has perverted their democracy. We The People have little say in who represents us or how. Labor seems to be as stunned about how to deal with that as the rest of us.

    Do they oppose the big money and serve the people's interest but never get elected? Lets stop the pretense that big spends on election, media influence and ad blitzes have no impact on outcomes. Or do they try to please 2 masters and still not be elected because big money will still prefer a party that serves just them? Stuck between a rock and a hard place they have floundered. Best they learn to just serve the people's interests.
