Buying out FAR at 6.5c would cost WPL about $408M plus admin costs if successful. And they would get all the other Gambian and Kenyan blocks with it. And the PE issue vanishes.
I'm still a bit baffled as to why that move wasn't made years ago. Maybe they were hoping we would fold and they would pick up FAR's 15% for next to nothing.
