Been watching EVN pay it's debt off over the years, and just when it's paid off SAR takes on a pile.
Gold mining Investors tend to stay away from debt laden companies.
Was there talk some years ago of moving part of the town out of the way? Surely that would be an expensive exercise.
Looks like a good future underground at the SuperPit at some point. I am not sure all the above ground resources can be extracted given current constraints.
I like the overall picture, but not expecting this to be positive for the share price in the short term.
SAR is taking on risk, but has the management to pull it off. One for long term investors.
