I am not totally accross how shorting works, but I am guessing this announcement is not good for shorters. How much of the increase is likely to be shorters covering before it gets too ugly and how much of this is a fundamental rerate of the business based on increased forecasts. I am guessing short covering is like a sugar hit until all the shorts are out of their position, but the true share value won;t be evident until after that.
