Are shorts going to cover at $14 or $20+?, page-2

I don't have a lot of knowledge on shorting but if people have shorted at say $15 and current price is $14 then they are still in the money.

If they have conviction the price will drop then they may not cover. Keep in mind a bot operates every afternoon doing 1/2 cent trades and tends to push the price down. They rely on weak retail hands in the afternoons.

Does anybody know the cost to borrow shares to short. If the cost is minimal and conviction is on lower price then they may not cover.

Think it comes down to a game of sentiment. Also think a lot of shorters have been previously burnt on A2 and they want their money back.

I intend to buy 1K shares per day up to the announcement of 1/2 year results in February.

For me buying a2 is a no brainer. It has to be the best buy on the ASX by a long shot.
