The next week will be very interesting to see where the SP settles. I suspect that it will be around $25 or slightly less. If that’s the case, then taking up the SPP will mean the pricing will be around $24.50 or lower.
Will now wait til mid next week and decide then. Notwithstanding the horror of the AUSTRAC findings, I will be inclined to take up the SPP. My rationale for this is that the BOD will be cleaned out, a new CEO will surely be found, and even with the fines to be paid the bank will be better for it. Like with CBA you will get a change in culture and improved systems, and the Bank will be better for it.
