We are reminded of net operating cashflows of $140m, a very large number for a business of this size. Plenty of room for both investment and debt repayment.
The 140Mw Flyers Creek project looks more certain.
Planning for the relocation of the recently leased SA diesel/gas turbines has decided for Bolivar.
The language around coal power stations likely to be retired earlier than anticipated will prove to be a gross understatement.. Boilers that blow won't be renewed as the coal generators run their businesses for cash. The speed of migration to renewable energy generation has to rank as one of the fastest transitions in human history.
For a year now RR has been speaking of contracting another 700Mw of wind to the portfolio to better use existing IFN firming capacity. Progress here would be welcome.
