Big investors couldn't give a toss what anyone on HC says, most probably don't even know what a HC is...
What most investors base their case on is the ability to make money. VMT is making money and growing at a phenomenal pace within a space undergoing very large growth/adoption. The brand is growing and being validated by majors such as Ducati which distinguishes them from cheap Chinese competition.
Eg say you are a ride sharing outfit and you can use the guys Ducati use of some unknown Chinese manufacturer, who do you go to?
