This announcement from CEA-Leti comes up against BrainChip Holdings Ltd. launched its own Neuromorphic System on a chip (Akida Neuromorphic System - SoC) in September 2018, claiming to be the first company to implement a spiking neural network architecture (see BrainChip launches the Pulse Neuron Network (SoC)) .
