Good on you Rebel,
I have two at home and don't charge them rent.
They both understand the value of money, contribute in many ways around the house and are saving towards buying their own home as early as possible.
Why not, if you are able, to offer your kids a hand up to get ahead early in life?
They still have to work for it and hopefully they will learn that they too, can assist their kids to get ahead early in life.
I look back, my parents charged me board as a 16yo student whilst working part time.
I much rather my way than my parents way!!
I also much rather the relationship I have with my kids!
Good on you rebel!!
